The Mule (XMR)
Mining Monero 1% fee · block finder gets 65% · pool.themule.online
Point a RandomX miner here and mine Monero. The block finder gets 65% of that block, and the rest is split PPLNS between everyone who recently contributed work.
Works with XMRig on ordinary CPUs (Ryzen and recent Intel do best), and rented RandomX hashrate from MiningRigRentals.

Pool miners
last 24 hoursHow to read the numbers: share sizes and the network difficulty use one scale, difficulty, written K = thousand, M = million, B = billion, T = trillion. A share whose difficulty reaches the network difficulty finds a block, so "% of a block" is simply best share divided by network difficulty. Difficulty is not hashes or hashrate.

Speed is worked out from the difficulty of accepted shares, so a miner with few shares looks rough at first. The 30-second figure leaves out the newest few seconds, which the pool hasn’t saved yet.

How it works
How do I start?
Install XMRig and point it at pool.themule.online:6337 with your Monero address as the username (add .name to label a miner) and x as the password. Example: xmrig -o pool.themule.online:6337 -u YOUR_XMR_ADDRESS.rig1 -p x --coin monero.
Which port should I use?
6337 for home computers; it adjusts itself. 6437 for rentals and big rigs; it starts at a higher difficulty. 6537 (fixed 25,000, laptops and older CPUs) and 6637 (fixed 100,000, desktops and servers) never change difficulty, and neither do 6737 (fixed 1,000,000, rentals around 100-200 kH/s) and 6837 (fixed 3,000,000, rentals around 300 kH/s). On 6337 or 6437, d=NUMBER in the password sets a fixed difficulty.
What's the fee?
1% of each block the pool finds, on every coin. Nothing is charged when the pool finds nothing.
What are my chances?
The pool page shows the chance of a block in the next hour, 24 hours and 7 days at the pool's current speed, and your miner page shows your own. Every share is a fresh draw, so time already spent doesn't make a block more likely. You are paid from any block the pool finds while your work is in the payout window, not only from blocks you find yourself.
How do payouts work?
When the pool finds a block, the miner who found it gets 65%, the pool keeps 1%, and the other 34% is split PPLNS between everyone who contributed work recently, in proportion to that work. Balances over 0.01 XMR are paid from the pool wallet once the block has matured.
Is this pool custodial?
Yes. Monero can't pay miners directly inside the block, so the reward lands in the pool wallet first and the pool sends your part to your address after the block matures. Until then the pool holds it.
When can I spend a reward?
Monero locks a block reward for 60 blocks (about 2 hours). After that your balance is paid on the next payout run, which happens every 10 minutes.
Can I use an exchange address?
Use a wallet you control (Feather, Cake, the official GUI). An exchange deposit that needs a payment ID works as ADDRESS#PAYMENTID.worker. Integrated addresses (106 characters) are not accepted.
What happens if I enter a wrong address?
An address that isn't a valid Monero address is refused at login. An address that is valid but belongs to someone else is paid out there, and the pool cannot reverse it.
How do I point rented hashrate here?
On MiningRigRentals, choose RandomX and add stratum+tcp://pool.themule.online:6437 with your Monero address as the worker and x as the password. Start with a small, short order to check it works.
Is my address shown to other people?
No. On this public page miners are shown with a shortened address, and each miner page link is an anonymous code. Only someone who already knows your address can look you up.
Is there any guarantee?
This is a small community pool run on home hardware, provided as-is. There's no guarantee of uptime or blocks. If you're renting hashrate, start with a small, short order.

Connect a miner
Use your Monero address as the username and add .name to label each miner, like address.desktop. The password can be x. Payouts go to the address the miner logs in with.
